Cooked these tonight and the texture was genuinely rustic — chewy, substantial, nothing like the flimsy stuff in the big boxes. You can tell it's made in Italy from the first bite, and it held the sauce exactly the way I hoped. My family asked where I got it, which says everything.

I grabbed a bag to see what all the fuss was about, and the rough surface of these strozzapreti really held onto the sauce better than any other pasta I've tried. It's nice knowing they're actually made in Italy, especially for the price.
