Artichokes with Stems

I was skeptical about jarred artichokes but these turned out way better than expected — the stems are tender and soak up the brine perfectly, which makes them great straight out of the jar on a salad. Tossed them into a pasta dish last night and they held their texture without turning mushy.

The stems are a nice bonus since they're often removed from other brands, and the firm texture holds up well in salads. I've been tossing them into pasta with olive oil and garlic for a quick weeknight dinner that tastes like I put in way more effort.
